  1. August & Tracy Aviary

    November 26, 2011 by admin

Elizabeth LOVES animals and loved the Tracy Aviary.  She ran from bird to bird making noises and talking to them.  She liked to stick her hand inside the fence to get as close to them as possible.  She had a great time with her Papa.

Right next to the aviary is a park which has carnival type rides as well as snow cones and treats. As you can see from the pictures, she couldn’t stop smiling.

  2. 4th of July

    November 24, 2011 by admin

This 4th of July we had a barbecue in Grandma T’s backyard. Elizabeth was in awe of sparklers and loved dancing around with them. With Elizabeth being the only grandchild so far on her mom’s side of the family, she is the center of attention and she wouldn’t have it any other way.  She had a blast running around and playing with her uncles!

  3. Bear Lake and Family Reunion

    November 24, 2011 by admin

This July we had a family reunion in Bear Lake. Elizabeth had such a blast playing with Phoebe and all of the kids around. We had a blast boating, eating great food, playing in the sand, playing games, digging for sea shells, and playing in the water. Elizabeth couldn’t get enough of red licorice and every time I would turn around she would have another handful. We had a great time being with extended family and can’t wait until we all get to be together at this time next year.

  4. May Flowers

    September 27, 2011 by admin

May has been such a fun month! Elizabeth has really come to LOVE being outside. She has a blast playing in her pool! She cannot get enough of the water. She has started her swim lessons too. For her first set of lessons, a parent gets into the pool and holds them while the instructor helps. There are four other children in her class and all she wants to do is hug, splash, and play with the other children.

Since taking her to a few Aquariums and realizing how much she loves fishes and of course water, we got a pass to the Aquarium close to our house.  It wouldn’t surprise anyone if I told them that she loved to pet the sting rays.  She does however, try and drink the salt water…

To stay on the theme of WATER, another thing that E can spend hours doing is splashing in the bath. She talks to and sings with her toys while soaking up the bubbles.

Give this girl some popcorn and candy and she is good to go. She has become really into movies and her favorite right now is Tangled. She can watch it over and over and over again. She also likes anything Minnie Mouse or Princess.

  5. The Easter Bunny

    September 24, 2011 by admin

Elizabeth ate enough chocolate to last until next Easter.  She was in awe that she could pop open plastic eggs and there was chocolate candies in them just for her.  I’m not sure why the Easter bunny brought so many! Elizabeth also sat on the Easter Bunny’s lap at the Country Club.  Most children that were her age and even a few years older were scared and would not sit on the bunny’s lap.  She jumped right up in her pretty Easter dress and smiled. Hopefully next Easter the bunny doesn’t bring SO much…

  6. This is The Place Monument

    September 24, 2011 by admin

Our cousins from Colorado were in town for a week so one fun thing that we did was see the “This is The Place” monument in Salt Lake. There were quite a few little activities and sights for the kids to see and do.  It is no surprise that Elizabeth’s favorite thing was the train ride. She had a blast playing with her cousins. We were all sad to see them go back home.

  7. Go Team Go!

    September 24, 2011 by admin

During the winter months it is High school Basketball season.  Since Charlie and Henry both play, we try and make it to as many games as we can. Elizabeth LOVES to cheer on her uncles!   The “H” tattoo on her cheek showed her support and spirit. Might I add that Elizabeth brought Highland High School a little luck winning the state championship this year as well.

  8. 1st Birthday Party

    May 18, 2011 by admin

I CANNOT believe that Elizabeth is already 1.  I know that everyone says that but is true, time has really flown by. I cannot think of what my life would be like without her. She is so crazy and busy but the sweetest little girl. She truly is a little angel. The theme for her 1st Birthday Party is Cupcakes! I decided to make her a birthday shirt with the number 1 on it and it turned out pretty cute. We had family over to celebrate and eat cupcakes! She had a blast opening all her new toys and playing with the balloons. Because Elizabeth is fairly active and nuts you would think that she would rip her cupcake apart. But to our surprise she used one finger at a time and didn’t want to get crumbs on herself. The one time when it would be okay for her to make a mess and go wild, she is timid and dainty. It was a wonderful day to celebrate Elizabeth!

  9. It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

    January 20, 2011 by admin

Elizabeth was not timid to sit on Santa’s lap.  I’m not sure what she thought about him but she just looked at him.  Santa gave her a teddy bear that she hugged and kissed.  She’s not afraid of Santa and no tears where shed.  Elizabeth wore a beautiful Christmas dress and had a great time eating and playing at the Country Club’s Christmas party in Salt Lake.

Adam had weeks off during the entire holiday season so it was really great to sit back and relax with family.  We went to a lot of movies, Christmas shopped, ate way too much, took naps, played games and read.  It was the perfect Christmas.  We had such a great time with Elizabeth on her very first Christmas.  I think that she was a little overloaded with all the fun and interesting things everywhere but she made sure to check everything out.  She cries every time we put her on the bike that we gave her but she will push it around.  Maybe when she gets a little older she will like it but for now, it only brings tears.  Her favorite gift is from Mimi and Grandpa.  They gave her a small, soft, fluffy chair that she can get up and down all by herself.  Every morning she eats cheerios and watched cartoons in her chair.  Santa definitely went a little over board this year, there is not enough time in the day for her to play with all her new toys.

  10. First Time in the SNOW

    January 4, 2011 by admin

The snow has finally arrived and Elizabeth was more than anxious to get out side and play. We could not find snow pants that were small enough for her nor boots that had a hard bottom so we did our best. She did have a hard time moving in her coat, but it did make it so she couldn’t take her hat off. She LOVED that snow, even after spending the majority of the time on the sidewalk trying to get back up. Here’s the first of many times in the snow! Here’s a little video:
